DMA Chairman Emphasizes on Improving Customer Service Processes

Chairman of Department for Municipal Affairs of Abu Dhabi Emirate, H.E. Saeed Eid Al Ghafli visited Al Ain City Municipality where he met with Director General of Al Ain Municipality Dr. Mattar Al Nuaimi and other prominent executives.

In the meeting, DMA Chairman was briefed about key developments on important projects undertaken by Al Ain City Municipality. Mr. Al Ghaffi visited the Integrated Customer Service Center. He was briefed about cooperation with strategic partner and key services provided by the Municipality.

During the visit, Mr. Al Ghafli stressed on building the capacity of the Municipality to serve as a premier public service organization, saying “This visit underscores the keenness of the Department of Municipal Affairs on uplifting the caliber of services provided by the Municipal System in various parts of Abu Dhabi Emirate, particularly in Al Ain city.”

“Stages ahead warrant putting more efforts towards standardizing the service offering at the Municipal System level, streamlining procedures and saving customers’ time and effort. This drive is part of efforts aimed at fulfilling the requirements of Abu Dhabi Emirate Economic Vision 2030 to rank Abu Dhabi government among the top five governments worldwide in terms of services offered to community members, thus rendering Abu Dhabi emirate one of the world’s best places to live, work and visit” he added.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Mattar Al Nuaimi emphasized on the important role played by Municipalities and Affiliated Sectors in improving the citizen’s quality of life. Employees were also encouraged to adopt best customer service practices in order to deliver quality service.
