Western Union has installed 580 self-service kiosks which would be available to customers in UAE 24/7. Customers will now be able to send money to family and friends anywhere in the world as well as pay their bills using these kiosks. Western Union is one of the global leaders for transferring money across the world.

Customers in UAE can pay their bills of Etisalat, Du, and Salik through this service. The kiosks will exclusively support Western Union’s cash to cash remittance service. The user interface has specifically been taken care of to provide a better customer experience and make the entire transaction process smooth and friendly. Once the transaction has been completed the Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) will be automatically generated.

Speaking on this occasion, President of Western Union for the regions, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, Eastern Europe & CIS, Jean Claude Farah explained how these new kiosks will add value to the overall transaction experience for Western Union customers. The number of expats is on the rise within the UAE region and this service will be particularly helpful for them in sending money to their loved ones back home. The service is customer friendly and simple to use. All the transactions comply with regulatory requirements, add to user convenience, and ensure completion of transactions in a speedy manner.

The main reason behind introduction of these new kiosks is that it will help Western Union further add to its USP and addition of new technology will directly benefit customers. The two agents of Western Union working behind the Kiosks for UAE are Al Fardan Exchange and Sharaf Exchange. The company aims to further expand this project where the kiosks for customers will increase to 800 in UAE.

The kiosks are located in different locations across the UAE such as shopping malls, fuel stations, banks, and hospitals etc.
