The Road and Transport Authority (RTA) joined by the Dubai Health Authority as part of the “Generations Safety is a Shared Responsibility” initiative provided child safety car seats for newborns at the Latifa and Dubai hospitals on Sunday. The initiative will distribute child safety seats through a daily raffle for the whole week at these hospitals.
“The Traffic Department has prepared an extensive programme to celebrate the week targeting the majority of community segments in Dubai by distributing awareness clippings in cinemas, cashier desks in cooperative societies, shopping centers and RTA’s e-service screens,” said Hussain Al Banna, Director of Traffic, RTA’s Traffic and Roads Agency.
The department will also spread awareness messages regarding safety through social networking websites.
The goal behind the distribution of child safety seats is to signify the importance of a newborn baby’s safety to mothers and the measures that they should take. This highlights the hospitals’ and RTA’s effort of showing that they value their customers and wish to provide them with safety and continue working for improved customer experience.
