Oman Air Awarded Best Airline Staff Service in Middle East

Oman Air has been given the Best Airline Staff Service Award for the Middle East region at the 2014 World Airline Awards at a ceremony held in England.

The airline was also recognized as second in the category of Best Catering Business Class and placed third for Best Airline Seat Business Class. The airline was also placed among top ten business class airlines in the world.

Acting CEO of Oman Air Mr. Salim Al Kindy expressed satisfaction with his company’s performance and said that he was proud to accept the award. He shared the company’s plan to expand with the inclusion of 20 new aircrafts. He thanked the Oman Air staff for putting in hard work which helped the airline earn these awards in the first place. These awards have served as gold standard for airline industry during the last decade and a half.

He further added, “It was a great honor to accept the award of Best Airline Staff Service Middle East on behalf of Oman Air especially since this award represents the most important element in our industry. The service that our staff gives to our customers, on the ground and in the air, making this an award that belongs to every member of staff in the Oman Air family.”

The award reflects the airline’s service standards and a focus on delivering quality customer service to travelers. Oman Air has received several awards in the past for various categories of luxury air travel. It was also recognized as World’s Second Best Airline in 2014 by American Express Travel Magazine.

The World Airline Awards has been giving awards to top performers in the airline industry since 1999. The awards are organized each year by Skytrax. The awards have been categorized into several segments on the basis of Airline Staff, Cabin, Low Cost, and Lounges.
