Under this scheme, citizens ID card renewal process would be fast, efficient and timesaving, enhancing the level of customer service in Emirates. Once the online application is submitted by citizens via smart phones or tablets, they would be able to track the status of their application any time. This friendly smart service, with its alert features will give a unique experience and would encourage citizens to easily register, update and renew their credentials on time.
Citizens would be able to file their complaints and suggestions directly in a user file. In addition, the smart service also supports mapping that further enable citizens to locate the approved centres and typing offices.
According to Emirates ID Director, General Dr. Eng. Ali Mohamed Al Khouri:
‘We are exerting our best efforts to launch the second package of ID smart services in the first quarter of 2014 to give an added value to identity verification procedures and policies locally and worldwide.’
