Wi-Fi made available in more than 250 public locations across UAE
Etisalat, one of the leading Telecom groups in the region has launched a high-speed public Wi-Fi service. The new service enables customers to connect to the internet using their smartphones and tablets in more than 250 major public locations in UAE. This is in line with UAE’s smart vision with a focus on providing convenience to the public.
Customers subscribed to 1GB of mobile data allowance or higher can enjoy free access through the public Wi-Fi. Free allowance varies from five hours up to 30 hours of high-speed unlimited Wi-Fi internet, depending on the mobile data package. Other customers can access the service by paying Dhs 25 for two days, and Dhs 100 for ten days. Customers can pay either through their local credit cards, or by using a Wasel recharge card.
Etisalat’s Chief Consumer Officer, Khaled ElKhouly, said that the company believes in providing quality services to its customers. In order to enhance customer experience and provide better connectivity, he said the organization has gone a step ahead by providing free, high speed Wi-Fi to customers.
