Telecom provider Du in vision with its future goals for better customer experience, has successfully tested a bandwidth range between 800 MHz and 1800 MHz.  This is aimed to improve the experience on the 4G LTE network. The new broadband technology aimed at mobile phone users will help provide faster internet speed. The technology was tested in collaboration with Huawei. The introduction of this new technology would help Du customers enjoy greater internet speed. Similarly, the number of areas where this service will be provided have been increased to ensure better accessibility to all UAE customers living in different regions.

The company, besides increasing its reach outside, is also working on providing better quality internet service indoors. The tests conducted successfully exhibited deployment of LTE Frequency between 800 MHz and 1800 MHz bands. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Saleem Al Balooshi talked about the company’s commitment to offer innovative and best in class technology products to customers. He explained the company’s vision to further enhance the end user experience by establishing reliable 4G LTE network coverage.

A mobile network benchmarking survey conducted by TRA for measuring the quality of service back in 2013 endorsed Du’s lead on several KPIs. Telecom experts believe that in 2014 many operators will be deploying LTE-A carrier aggregation globally.
