Customers of Zain Kuwait will be gaining from improved billing systems and more aligned processes.

Ericsson has been given the Business Support Systems (BSS) transformation project for Zain Kuwait. The agreement between the two entails a range of products, solutions and system integration services. The agreement was signed during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, during a ceremony which was attended by Hans Vestberg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Ericsson Group and Omar Al-Omar Chief Executive Officer of Zain Kuwait, along with other Ericsson and Zain Executives.

Through Ericsson’s solutions, customers of Zain will be able to gain from the advantages of a fully integrated system which has greater flexibility and lesser time to market for new offers. Customers will enjoy smoother experiences through the enhanced billing flexibility, single bill as well as options to try new services, without having to worry about unexpected costs.

Omar Al Omar, CEO of Zain Kuwait, said that Ericsson is a leader in BSS transformation processes and its BSS solutions provide efficient, innovative and user- oriented systems. He showed confidence in Ericsson’s potential to assist Zain Kuwait in aligning its processes, reducing costs and delivering the best customer experience in real time.

The project brings forward the second phase of Ericsson’s partnership with Zain Kuwait, as Ericsson completed the implementation of its charging system, Multi Activation, Multi Mediation and integration layer for Zain Kuwait in November 2014.
