Electronics giant Samsung announces the launch of ‘The Galaxy Tab 3 Kids’, with educational tools and safety features, designed specifically for children.

As per the company statistics, almost 70% of the tablet owners share the devices with their children. The new GALAXY TAB 3 KIDS has been specifically designed for children to get entertainment within safe boundaries, as the tablet offers parents the ability to select the apps they want their kids to have access to, using the Application Manager Control system.

For enriched customer experience, the kids tablet is equipped with 600 apps, empowering them with educational, entertainment, gaming and e-book applications. In addition, it comes with a touch sensitive C-Pen to help children in on-screen drawing activities.

However, for content safety and better time management, parents can shift from ‘kid’s mode’ to ‘standard user mode’ to use the time restriction feature of the device, hence activating password protect lock screen and disabling further use.
