Etihad Airways has announced, that it will be introducing six new routes in the first half of 2015, giving its valuable customers more options to pick from. As per the airline, everyday flights will be launched to Madrid (Spain), Edinburgh (Scotland), Kolkata (India), and Entebbe (Uganda), as well as four flights a week to Hong Kong, and three flights a week to Algiers (Algeria).
Not only will this enhance the customer service for the passengers through providing them with flexible travel management, but also expand the airline’s B2B relations by enhancing their code share agreements.
James Hogan, President and CEO of Etihad Airways talked about services through its key airline partners, such as Virgin Australia, Jet Airways, Air Seychelles, Air Europa, and Kenya Airways. By adding six new stops in Europe, Asia, and Africa, Etihad will further expand its network, taking its total number of routes to 107.
Along with this, Etihad daily flights to Brisbane (Australia), which at the moment are connected through Singapore, will be changed to direct service from June 2015. A Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, will be used to fly this particular connection.
Growth and development plans for June 2015, also include three-class Airbus A330-300 aircraft for everyday flights to Singapore and three-class Boeing 787-0 Dreamliner flights to Moscow.
These new plans announced by the airline will give customers more travel options to choose from next year.
