Currently there are four stations in Dubai Marina, each side of the creek has two stations. The area has several restaurants and cafés which are frequently visited by tourists and the one day ticket will add to the customer experience allowing them to commute as much as they want.
Director of Marine Transport of RTA, Mr. Hussain Khansaheb said that this initiative would help improve marine tourism in Dubai. The ticket card issued will be valid for an entire day. Customers would be able to hop-on and hop-off on the four stations, providing an affordable yet enjoyable journey to those using the service.
Besides being able to enjoy an entire day’s trip, passengers of this ticket would also be able to get 28 discount vouchers which can be used for retail outlets, restaurants and tour operators in the Marina area.
It is to be noted that a regular one way ticket costs between AED 3 and AED 5 depending on the distance travelled.
