RTA changes public transport timings to offer a convenient travelling experience for customers during Eid Holidays.

Public transport services for the Eid Al Adha holidays beginning from Friday have been increased, while the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has made special arrangements for traffic around areas which are popular with holidaymakers.

With Eid holidays starting, the public transport services have been increased in order to facilitate traffic and make extra arrangements for the ease of residents and tourists of Dubai. The Dubai Metro stations timings for Eid will change as well and will be open from 5:30 am till 2:00 am on the 2nd, 4th and 5th of October and from 10 am to 2 am on Friday the 3rd of October. Metro station will start service from 5:30 am till 1 am, on the October 6th and 7th, as well as on the 15th, 16th and 17th of October.

Bus timings will also be changing in order to provide better customer service to travelers. Main stations like Gold Souk and Al Ghubaiba will be beginning service at 5:10 am till 12: 00 am. Subsidiary stations of Satwa, Qusais, Qouz Industrial and Jebel Ali, will also have their times changed. The Jebel Ali Station will be starting from 6 am until 10 pm, and other stations will be from 5: 30 am till 11: 45 pm. The Route CO1 will be running throughout the day.

Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai Mall, Ibn Battuta, Abu Hail, Etisalat, and Burj Khalifa stations, will be running from 5:15 am to 1:10 am till the next day.

“External stations such as Sharjah (Jubail – Bur Dubai) will be on service round-the-clock, while Abu Dhabi station will be operational from 05:00 am to 11:55 pm. Fujairah station will be running from 06:40 am to 10:00 pm, and Ajman station will be on service from 06:00 am to 10:00 pm while Hatta station will start service from 05:30 am and continue up to 09:30 pm.” Said Moaza Al Marri, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication.

Motorists will be able to enjoy free parking in the paid parking zones in Dubai during the Eid holidays, other than the parking zones at the Fish Market and the multi- level parking terminal as of Friday 3rd October.

Customer Service Centers will remain closed during the Eid holidays which will be beginning from Friday 3rd October, and will open on the 7th of October.
