Customers commuting long distances, for e.g. from Dubai to Saudi Arabia are advised to follow safety rules and tips.

Emirates General Petroleum Corporation ‘Emarat’ has joined hands with the Dubai Roads and Transportation Authority (RTA) for the objective of encouraging safe and carful driving for motorists who ride long routes. The focus has been on customers who commute from Dubai to Saudi Arabia, covering a long distance between the two points.

The campaign is designed to increase awareness for travelers and enhance their travelling experience. The book is titled, “The Road Travelers Guide’ and covers information about distance, tips for safe driving as well as a map which clearly shows the route for the motorist. Both organizations have made the effort to offer quality customer service to customers and show their concern for the safety of motorists driving for longer hours.

The Emarat Al Hassa service station located on Dubai-Abu Dhabi road highway has been chosen to cater to the outbound traffic. RTA will be giving out travel guides and road maps to people every week on Thursday and Friday, for up to three hours a day till the 15th of August 2014 at the Emarat Al Hassa Service Station.

Mr. Hussain Kazim, Manager Corporate Communications at Emarat said, “Working hand in hand with the RTA to drive awareness of such initiatives helps us educate people on the importance of safe driving. As more and more people become aware of their action on the roads, the safer the journey becomes for them and other fellow motorists.”
