The services offered by Qatar Airways wins it the Readers Choice award in SAVEUR Magazine’s annual Culinary Travel Awards.
Qatar Airways, one of the leading airlines in the world, has been awarded with four honors, which include the SAVEUR Magazine’s annual Culinary Travel Awards. The four awards given to Qatar Airways were, Readers’ Choice: Airport Lounge for Qatar Airways at London Heathrow Airport, Notable Airport Lounge for Qatar Airways Premium Terminal, Doha International Airport, Notable In-Flight Beverages and Notable In-Flight Dining (First & Business Class).
Qatar Airways premium lounges were acclaimed in the Best Airport Lounge category, which also included the previous Premium Terminal at the Doha International Airport. The airline has made its mark at the London Heathrow, with its lounge being highly valued in the world.
Readers of the SAVEUR Magazine have been valuing the lounge for its quality features, such as a gourmet restaurant with an open theater-style kitchen, special restaurants with organic food, luxury private showers and business center for people looking to work with WiFi, PCs and Printers. This has led the airline service to make a mark and impress the international market, because of the quality customer experience it offers.
Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker, said, Qatar Airways is also finding new ways and ideas to improve service delivery and surprise the customer by exceeding their expectations and delivering unforgettable passenger experiences, both inflight and other wise.
Mr. Al Baker added they never compromise on the quality and the new Al Mourjan Business lounge is evidence of that. He said the airline had made a new standard for luxury and comfort for airport lounges, due to the many services they provide, which include, multiple dining options, family spaces and game rooms as well as quiet rooms for customers looking for privacy or a peaceful time.
Not only for its quality airport lounge customer service, but Qatar Airways has also been recognized for its quality inflight service. The airline offers lie flat seats, which also has a back massager for its Premium class. On top of this the airline offers premium dining for an inflight experience. The menu for the First and Business class have been formulated by celebrity chefs internationally. Which include, Nobu Matsuhisa, Tom Aikens, Vineet Bhatia, and Ramzi Choueiri with five Michelin star together among them.
