Ooredoo introduced Oman’s first International Flat Rate (IFR) for its business customer who can now use their mobile phones to call all top international destinations 24 hours a day for just 99 Baizas per minute. The rate represents cost saving of up to 60% on standard peak time international rates. The offer will aim to eliminate all confusion regarding call rates between peak and off peak pricing.
Said Al Shanfari, Business Marketing Director of Ooredoo, said the flat rate is likely to benefit business Shahry customers since it offers flexibility and convenience of calling directly from their mobile phones to their loves ones abroad. Moreover, the flat rate provides an opportunity to save on costs and avoid high bills.
Adding to this he commented, that the flat rate removes all confusion when it comes to billing and tariffs since the rate is applicable throughout the day and that the company has always thrived towards enhancing service by facilitating international connectivity and reducing distances by offering cheap calls.
He also outlined Ooredoo’s strategy to offer products and services that meet the needs of consumer lifestyle in a cost-effective manner. He expressed his confidence in the success of the new IFR offer and said that it will enhance customer service experience for all customers.
The IFR offer will be valid until 18 March 2015 and will enable Ooredoo Business mobile customers to make international calls to the top 10 most frequently called international destinations including Egypt, India, Pakistan Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom and the United states for a mere 3 Omani Rials per month.
