Qatar Airways has designed a new online system for its customers who can now print tags for their baggage even before reaching the airport. The system is called My Q-Tag which lets passengers enjoy a smooth customer experience, by conveniently going to the web check-in bag drop counter and have their bags loaded, without waiting in long lines.
After the passengers use the facility, the customer service representatives will assist them in checking in the labelled baggage. This will enable customers to reach the departure area faster, decreasing their chances of missing flights.
Qatar Airways Chief Executive Officer, His Excellency Mr. Akbar Al Baker said: “With the capacity to handle 8,700 customers per hour, HIA will provide a seamless, hassle-free experience to our passengers, from check-in to passport control and boarding. Qatar Airways passengers will be thrilled to take advantage of our new My Q-Tag service, along with the comfort and functional design of the new airport, and the exceptional shopping and dining choices it offers.”
