ENOC Adds Three New Stores in Dubai

Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) has added new stores to its chain of convenience retail outlets. One of the three ZOOM stores has been opened in Cluster A of Jumeirah Lake Towers which is a franchise. The two other stores which are company operated include one in Deira and the other in Umm Hurrair Apartments, Oud Metha.

ENOC has opened the ZOOM stores in different arrangements to offer maximum convenience to retail customers. Besides ENOC expanding its customer reach, these new stores reflect increasing interest of entrepreneurs to invest into consumer driven segments of the market.

Managing Director of ENOC Retail, Mr. Burhan Al Hashemi explained the company’s desire for expansion in the retail business, saying “The expansion of our network highlights the credentials of ENOC Retail as a leading player in the convenience retail business in Dubai. The ZOOM stores have redefined the concept of easy retail by not only offering motorists a choice of products at service stations but also taking the concept closer to the communities. Our focus on expanding our network through franchises will further contribute to promoting the growth of small and medium enterprises, a core focus of the Dubai Government.”

ENOC currently owns more than 165 ZOOM outlets, 41 of which are on Dubai Metro and it has a workforce exceeding 4,000 employees.
