Customers will now be able to view flight alerts, check- in, calculate miles and use the App to enhance their travel experience etc. through the iPhone App.
Emirates after introducing The Emirates App for the iPad in the beginning of the year has now launched the Emirates App for iPhone as well. Emirates is looking to enhance mobile presence and provide better customer service. The Emirates App has garnered plenty of positive reviews by users, and is trending in 25 countries with a rating of 4.5 stars.
The app is providing customers with the enhanced option to check- in and download their boarding passes instantly to their Passbook. Along with this, the app also delivers push notifications for check- in, flight boarding, gate changes as well as baggage belt numbers. These features enhance customer experience of the travelers by letting them know about updates and alerts regarding important information.
Users can install the App by directly downloading it or through the App Store by searching for ‘Emirates’. The app delivers multiple features for increasing customer experience and improving service quality. This includes being able to book flights, choose seats as well as meal plans. Along with this customers can organize their Emirates Skywards frequent flyer accounts as well. They can even integrate their boarding passes with their pass book, check flight statuses, and even book complimentary Chauffeur-drive service for themselves if they are flying the First Class and Business Class.
“There is no doubt that our customers increasingly want to use their mobile devices and tablets to book and manage their travel. The Emirates App has been designed to address their needs, and make it easier and more convenient to interact with Emirates via their mobile devices,” said Boutros Boutros, Divisional Senior Vice President Corporate Communications, Marketing and Brand at Emirates.
