Availability of free Wi-Fi has been ensured during this Ramadan on Dubai Metro. The leading telecom company Du is providing the service. For every post with the hash tag #30DaysofSharing Du will donate AED 10 to its annual iftar charity. Users can use this hash tag on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. The company’s iftar charity supports the less privileged by distributing meals among them during the holy month of Ramadan.

The free Wi-Fi service offered will be available to customers on all Dubai Metro trains for both red and green lines. Needless to say that customers need to have a Wi-Fi enabled device to benefit from this service. The Wi-Fi connection which will show up is ‘du WiFi’. Once ‘du WiFi” has been selected, the users will be directed to Du Wi-Fi landing page from where they can get connected and enjoy the free internet throughout their commute on Dubai Metro.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Commercial Officer Mr. Fahd Al Hassawi reiterated the telecom giant’s commitment to providing internet accessibility to customers at any time and any place. The availability of internet will help users accomplish several internet connected tasks on the go.

Du has always been at the forefront of technological innovations to facilitate their customers. A few days ago, Du added new Video Retail System which would help customers better interact with customer service representatives to get their issues resolved on a timely basis.
