In an attempt to provide more value added services to customers, Bank Sohar will now allow customers to transfer funds to all local banks in Oman, in addition to Online Bill payment facility. The two new services will add to the premium portfolio of Products and Services provided by the bank and enhance customer experience.
Mr. Rashad Ali Al Musafir, Acting CEO of Bank Sohar said that the bank will continue to thrive for more innovative services that will benefit the customers. He said customer convenience is the bank’s prime goal, which the bank hopes to achieve, either by offering personal services or online banking. Mr. Rashad revealed that Bank Sohar is receptive of the rising demand for online banking, which is why new services are being continually added to the portfolio.
Customers will be able to enjoy instant online bill payment facility for Water, Electricity, Mobile, Internet, and landline bills, with no additional charges. Alerts will be sent to customers after successful transactions and customers can also review past transactions. Moreover, customers can safely use the bank’s online services with the state-of-the-art high level security infrastructure to ensure data privacy and security of all transactions.
Additionally, Bank Sohar’s customers can benefit from branch experience at 26 locations across the Sultanate and multiple ATMs. Also, in order to facilitate and offer convenience to businessmen, the Bank’s ATMs at Buraimi, Shinas and Wajajah border issue Dirhams; a step which facilitates those travelling to UAE or doing business. Additionally the bank also offers cash deposit facility at all Branch ATMs.
