Email Everywhere – Global (EEG) package will allow users to send and receive office emails and WhatsApp messages when they are roaming anywhere in the world. The service will be available in all regions where Ooredoo has a roaming agreement with local mobile telecommunication companies. The new service adds to the customer experience since they will be able to stay connected while on the move. The service is free of charge for all customers currently using data bundle of 10GB or above.
Said Al Shanfari, Director of Business Marketing at Ooredoo said that all business customers want to stay connected and communicate about work while they are travelling. He said that nobody wants to get into the trouble of finding Wi-Fi hotspots when travelling and customers often have to purchase coffee in order to get Wi-Fi passwords. If users subscribe to ‘Email Everywhere’, all other services will be restricted so that customers are not charged unnecessarily. This means business customers would not have to worry about an inflated bill because they would know exactly what they are being charged.
He further added that EEG plan will be free for customers who are using local data bundles of 10GB or more. Ooredoo Business customers will be able to enjoy freedom and flexibility which comes with being able to stay connected while they are travelling.
Global Mobile Service ‘Email Everywhere’ will enable business customers to send and receive, 2500 average sized emails, which comes down to around 250MB of roaming data.
