Mobily customers in Saudi Arabia will benefit from the agreement with Accenture as it will speed the service delivery.

Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) in an announcement revealed that it has signed a SR180 million ($48 million), three-year contract with Accenture. The partnership will help speed up delivery and enrich customer experience for all Mobily subscribers in Saudi Arabia.

Accenture will provide application development support to Mobily which includes end-to-end software development, delivery and implementation across Mobily’s business support systems.

Ahmed Alsuwaiyan, General Manager for Customer Management Applications in Mobily said that Accenture’s expertise and experience will help Mobily streamline its BSS operations, shorten its IT delivery life cycle and maintain quality of software. He explained how all these changes will help the company deliver superior customer service to its customers, since it would speed up delivery, add more campaigns and promotions. Moreover, it is likely to improve cost management across all BSS capabilities.

Gerardo Canta, Managing Director of Accenture’s Communications and High Technology Middle East, explained how BSS works by aiding the operations for communication companies to manage their services and their customer base. He further stressed the importance of BSS transformation for communication companies. He said that BSS transformation helps companies retain their competitive edge and bring constant innovation.
