Entertainer Mobile App launched in an attempt to increase HSBC Bank’s digital presence.
HSBC Bank Oman S.A.O.G. announced the launch of its Entertainer Mobile App in a bid to offer complete digital banking solutions. The new app will add to the already existing diverse portfolio of digital services. The new initiative is being introduced in a response to ever-changing customer needs and customer service expectations.
The Entertainer Mobile App will enable access to over 8,000 ‘Buy 1 Get 1 Free’ vouchers for various offers ranging from travel and dining to entertainment. Moreover, the app enables customers to find venues close to their geographic location where discounts are available. Currently, discount offers are available in 15 countries including Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Lebanon, Cyprus, United Kingdom, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and South Africa.
Andrew Long, Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bank Oman said that the changing digital environment means that customer needs are also evolving and convenient banking services need to be offered. He highlighted the benefits of HSBC Bank’s multi-channel approach, which has improved the customer service experience immensely. He said that the bank is committed to introducing more digital services which will enhance the customer experience further. He also said that the bank reported a 29% increase in registration to Personal Internet Banking service, which reflects the popularity of digital services in the region. He assured that the digital services are secure, reliable and universally accessible to all customers.
HSBC Bank Oman also has the country’s first-of-its-kind Arabic Mobile App. Additionally, Account holders can monitor and review their account details and history on one screen, pay utilities and credit card bills.
