Etisalat to Allow Data Gifting for Customers

Etisalat continuing with the tradition of innovation, launched a new service that will allow customers to gift mobile data packages to their families and friends. Additionally, customers will be awarded 10 percent bonus data for every package they gift. For example, if a customer gifts 1GB package, 100MB data will be awarded free of cost. Data gift packages can shared across prepaid and post-paid accounts.

Etisalat offers different data packages for gifts ranging from 100MB up to 20GB. This service can be used through Etisalat Mobile App or alternatively customers can dial the *170*6# USSD code or send the relevant keyword for their chosen data package. The new service also includes a feature that enables customer to pay for the data gift directly from a phone account, cash or card payments at any Etisalat Business Centre.

Khaled ElKhouly, Chief Marketing Manager, Etisalat, said that Etisalat has launched countless new and innovative services in the past. He said that the company offers a wide range of mobile data packages which have been specifically designed to meet the needs of different segments of customers. He further added that Etisalat is delighted to enable customers to gift mobile data to their friends and family members. He highlighted the benefits of gifting data which includes 10 percent bonus data allowance.
