Etihad Cargo, of the UAE based airline, Etihad Airways, has been honored with the award of the Air Cargo Industry Customer Care Award’ at the 2014 Air Cargo Week (ACW) World Air Cargo Awards.

The award was a result of votes by the customers of the Etihad Cargo, who were satisfied by the customer service being offered.  David Kerr, Etihad Airways Vice President Cargo was presented with the award, at the ACW’s annual cargo industry awards event, which was taking place in Shanghai, China.

Etihad Cargo was praised for its customer care policies and keenness to serve customers with attentiveness and also providing quality customer service.

“Our customers and their cargo needs are at the heart of the Etihad Cargo business model, and the industry’s recognition is a reflection of what continues to keep us ahead.” Mr Kerr said.

Mr. Kerr, shed light on the importance of quality service and the effort their company puts into enhancing customer relationships and building strategies on offering customer-targeted cargo solutions. He talked about the importance of listening to customers and coming up with solutions on the spot, to handle every situation and customer according to their specific needs.

Etihad recently also won the awards for best airline in the world as well as Best International Airline at the Destaque Awards in Brazil, for its quality customer experience and onboard services.
