Emirates NBD Collaborates with Uber to Bring Exclusive Offer for Customers

Emirates NBD, a leading bank in the United Arab Emirates, has now inked an exclusive deal with Uber to offer its customers more rewards on complimentary rides, credit cards as well as opportunities to win cash refund every hour. Uber is a company that enables riders to effortlessly contact drivers via a smartphone app.

The aim of the exclusive collaboration is to offer exceptional value to both Emirates NBD and Uber customers. The unique offer has been made available to customers from August 1st, 2015 and it will remain valid till October 31st, 2015.

Emirates NBD cardholders will get a 5% reward on each Uber booking, whereas first-time customers of Uber services will get to enjoy a complimentary ride. Additionally, till October 31st, 2015, during every hour, one lucky customer will get 100% cash refund of the amount they have spent on the Uber ride. The new deal will reward cash refunds to 24 winners each day. On the whole, 2160 lucky customers will get the opportunity to win their cashback that they spend on Uber rides over the period of next three months.

Commenting on the exclusive partnership with Uber, the General Manager of Retail Banking and Wealth Management at Emirates NBD, Suvo Sarkar said, they have built a strong reputation when it comes to delivering convenient banking solutions to customers by leveraging advanced technology and they share this philosophy with Uber. He also said that the partnership will allow them to offer cardholders exclusive services that are in line with their needs and lifestyle.

On the other hand, Uber’s General Manager for UAE, JP Mondalek said that in this digital age, it is essential for businesses to work in collaboration, so that they can further evolve the customer experience. He said that their collaboration with Emirates NBD is a prime example of how organizations can integrate different services to deliver innovative, convenient and seamless offerings to customers.
