The Emirates Identity Authority’s attempt at improving their service quality and transformation towards M-government in the UAE has been appreciated and valued. The award was given because of the seamless experience of e-payment through the ID card for banking and other financial platforms.
The new system has reduced the effort and troubles of using the previous ID card, resulting in a smoother customer experience, by eliminating the need of multiple documents and verification for people.
