Du, one of UAE’s leading telecom provider has made a contract with Nokia to use its IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS), and improve the customer experience it offers to users. The installation of the IMS will enable du’s customers to enjoy various multimedia services, such as instant messaging, HD (high definition) voice and file sharing etc. with smoother interface and improved customer experience.
The adoption of the IMS will enable customers to have a convenient and seamless experience of enjoying multimedia services, which will be responsive on multiple screens on all devices.
Saleem Al Balooshi, Executive Vice President of Network Development and Operation, du, said: “Providing the highest level of customer experience is our priority, as we constantly seek to improve upon our existing quality of services that would lead to a superior customer experience. By working with Nokia to deploy IMS, we are increasing the sustainability of our network while also enhancing our connectivity capabilities, to better support the UAE leadership’s Smart City and Smart Government initiatives.”
