Aramex, a global logistics and transportation solutions provider in a partnership with Al Ansari Exchange has launched the Aramex Express Box for customers in UAE. The one of its kind, Aramex Express Box is an automated kiosk, which will streamline international and domestic express shipments. Aramex customers will be able to use this service through Express Boxes which will be placed at selected Al Ansari Exchange branches around the UAE. The new service offers unprecedented flexibility and convenience for customers as it will allow them to drop their packages in the secure kiosks at any time. Additionally, customers will also be able to track their shipment through SMS mobile updates and 24 hour Aramex helpline.
The new service was launched as a result of a survey carried out by Aramax across the country, which revealed that 70 per cent of the participants were inclined towards the idea of using a self-service system to send and pay for their express shipments. 14 Express boxes have already been set up, with plans to expand the service in the future. Hence, the service not only provides a way for customers to send their shipment in a flexible manner, but also keeps them informed about the delivery progress.

The use of technology offers customers convenience and brings efficiency. He credited customer feedback for the new self-service kiosks.
