Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) opened a new branch at Dubai Airport Freezone, DAFZA, which brings the total number of branches to 18 in the Dubai region. ADIB is gradually increasing its presence in the United Arab Emirates with a grand total of 87 branches in the region, which makes it one of the largest banking networks in the UAE.

Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Director General of DAFZA, and Tirad Al Mahmoud, ADIB CEO were in attendance at the inauguration ceremony.

Tirad Al Mahmoud, CEO of ADIB expressed confidence in the growth strategy of ADIB, and said that the opening up of new branches reflects the bank’s commitment to enhance customer service experience and convenience for customers. He further added that ADIB thrives to meet the changing lifestyle needs of customers and enhance the level of interactions with the customers. He said that the new branch at DAFZA will provide convenience for private and business customers who live or work nearby.

Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Director General, DAFZA said that the opening up of new branches is a welcome step since more avenues are needed to deliver premium services to growing number of customers in the region. He said that the banking sector has witnessed tremendous growth in the past few years, and expressed confidence that there will be a great customer response. He assured full cooperation with ADIB to deliver high quality customer service in order to meet the financial and banking needs of all customers.
