Shukran credit cards will be offering unprecedented discounts and rewards to customers on purchases.
Standard Chartered Bank has partnered with MasterCard and Landmark Group to launch two new credit cards for the customers in UAE: Standard Chartered MasterCard Shukran World and Standard Chartered MasterCard Shukran Titanium. The new credit cards will enable cardholders to accumulate and use reward points. As an introductory incentive customers will be given discount vouchers worth AED 1000 with the card.
The Standard Chartered MasterCard Shukran World credit card comes with an incentive of up to 10 percent as shukran points on total purchases on all participating stores. Additionally, 50 percent discount is available on movie tickets at VOX cinemas. Free access will also be given to over 500 Airport lounges worldwide through LoungeKey which is world’s biggest independent airport lounge programme. On the other hand, The Standard Chartered MasterCard Shukran Titanium Credit Card will enable customers to get 7.5 per cent of their total purchases as points on all participating stores in the region.
More than 400 stores in the region will be participating in the program. These stores offer a variety of goods and services including fashion, home, electronics, footwear and accessories, sportswear, and hospitality. Some of the prominent brands available at these stores are Centrepoint, Babyshop, Splash, Shoe Mart, Lifestyle, Max, Shoexpress, Home Centre and Emax etc.
Mohsin Nathani, CEO Standard Chartered expressed delight with the partnership with MasterCard. He said that the new credit cards will add value to the lives of customers. He added that Standard Chartered has always thrived for excellence in customer service, which is why the bank has found ways to serve the niche in the market. He also expressed confidence in partnership with Landmark Group, a company that has more than 20 years of history with the bank.
Raghu Malhotra the Division President, Middle East and North Africa of MasterCard said that UAE retail market has a lot of potential, and tourism is likely to boost the retail growth in the future. He said that MasterCard is delighted to partner with Standard Chartered Bank and offer its payment solutions to enhance customer experience.
Vipen Sethi, CEO Landmark Group said that Shukran is one of the most popular loyalty programme in the region with more than 10 million members. He further added that its members enjoy multiple discounts, promotions and offers across selected brands. Sethi said that its partnership with Standard Chartered and MasterCard will help create even more value for customers and enhance shopping experience for all cardholders.
