Vodafone has launched a Haj Roaming Pack for it’s customers that gives them roaming facility on the Mobily network in Saudi Arabia, offering unlimited data for the Haj period. This offer will be available for customers till the 10th of October for QR50 a week.
This offer comes in line with Vodafone’s announcements to offer customers the 4G service for roaming in Saudi Arabia on Mobily. A large amount of people will be going for Haj and will be given the convenience of browsing internet for free. Vodafone is looking to enhance its customer experience by giving them access to mobile and internet service roaming during Haj.
“As many of our customers make the great pilgrimage to Mecca, we are pleased to offer them an amazing roaming pack to help them stay in touch with family and friends and to capture their spiritual journey. With 4G roaming services also available from Vodafone, we hope we can make our customers’ experience even more special,” as per Vodafone in a statement
Customers of Vodafone with prepaid, postpaid and business packages can all avail the Haj pack, in order to use the roaming package. In order to activate the offer in Saudi Arabia, prepaid customers need to dial the number *200*966#, postpaid users *110*966# and business customers *110*966# respectively in order to sign up for the offer.
Saudi Arabia is on the list of the 26 Vodafone passport countries, which allows the Vodafone postpaid customers the choice of availing a roaming rate of 75Dhs per minute in order to make or receive calls as well as send SMS or MB of internet.
Customers can activate a Vodafone passport for QR20 as an extra package along with the postpaid plan with calling on the number 122 or by going to any Vodafone store. Red XL and Red VIP postpaid customers can benefit from the Vodafone Passport rate for free in their bundles.
