Mashreq, one of the leading banking institutions unveiled UAE’s first “Me-Life” credit card in partnership with Etisalat, continuing its quest for innovative banking solutions for customers. The new credit card aims to enhance customer experience by adding value through a powerful rewards proposition.
Customers will be able to save money on their monthly expenditure on Etisalat services such as talk-time, data, broadband and direct-to-home subscriptions through 5% reward give-back on all their card purchases, which means customers will get 5% off their next Etisalat services bill.
Khaled Elkhouly, Chief Marketing Officer at Etisalat expressed confidence in the partnership with Mashreq Bank and Visa. He said the new card will add great value for the customers by offering rewards and discounts.
Nimish Dwivedi, Head of Payments at Mashreq said customer demands and expectations keep changing, which is why it is essential to evolve and offer innovative solutions to maximize customer satisfaction. He said that the new Mashreq Etisalat Visa Credit Card not only offers highest talk-time per Dirham of spend, but also facilitates more surf-time, stream-time, game-time and movie-time.
Both, prepaid and postpaid customers will be able to benefit from the new Visa card. Spending AED 3000 per month will result in value addition in terms of free talk-time and data worth AED 150. The joint project also enhances and redefines loyalty propositions for customers.
Visa’s General Manager for the UAE & Global Accounts Lead MENA, Marcello Baricordi expressed delight over the partnership with Mashreq Bank and Etisalat. He said that the new Visa card will create value for customers through rewards and other travel benefits. Customers will also be granted access to around 500 airport lounges worldwide with this card.
