VIVA, a leading telecommunication company in collaboration with Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons’ has launched Bahrain’s first high-speed 4G Car-Fi broadband technology. Customers purchasing new cars from the exclusive Nissan and Infinti dealer, Y.K. Almoayyed & Sons’ will be able to enjoy VIVA’s broadband car Wi-Fi LTE technology for one year with 60 GB data.
Passengers can connect their smart devices to 4G LTE internet during their commute. The technology offers multi-terminal internet access to Bahrain’s fastest and widest 4G network in cars. This service can be hugely beneficial to business executives so that they can stay connected and carry out their business correspondence while travelling. Moreover, individuals can also use the internet for entertainment, navigation and recreational purposes.
Andrew Hanna, Chief Commercial Officer at VIVA said that the provision of 4G Car-Fi broadband technology will enhance customer experience and reflects VIVA’s vision to introduce new and innovative products and services for customer convenience. He reaffirmed VIVA’s commitment to introduce more value-added products to deliver premium customer experience. He said that the Wi-Fi system is designed to connect up to ten devices simultaneously, which means that passengers can stay connected on their iPods, laptops, smartphones and tablets.
Y.K. Almoayyed and Sons’ – Nissan and Infiniti General Manager Paul Baker commenting on the partnership said that the new initiative adds value to the feature-rich vehicles.
