Digital initiatives at the new branch to improve customer experience.

Commercial Bank of Dubai has opened a new branch in Ras Al Khaimah. The new branch was inaugurated by H.H. Sheikh Ahmad bin Saqr Al Qassimi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone. H.E Saeed Ahmed Ghobash, CBD Chairman of the Board and Peter Baltussen, Chief Executive Officer were also present at the inauguration ceremony.

The branch is located on Al Qawasim Corniche in Ras Al Khaimah, which is an ideal location for attracting banking customers. The branch is equipped with all new and latest technologies including tablets that display bank’s products and services, in addition to providing access to the bank’s website. Commercial Bank of Dubai currently offers both, conventional and Islamic banking options for all customers.

Peter Baltussen, Chief Executive Officer, CBD said that the opening of the new branch goes to show the commitment of the organization to contribute to the economic revival of the country. The new branch will help meet customer needs and with the use of latest technology banking services will be made more convenient.

Frans Jan Burkens, Deputy General Manager – Personal Banking Group – CBD said that the new branch will provide an excellent avenue to showcase various digital innovations. He further explained how the bank has excelled in adopting technology for customer convenience including the Facebook branch and high-tech digital kiosks that are being rolled out later this year.
