New ‘Express Bus’ Launched

The buses will make an average of 72 daily trips every 30 minutes to facilitate customers.
New “Express Bus” services have been launched by Abu Dhabi’s Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport. This service has been initiated to provide a wider coverage of bus network in the emirate to traveling customers.
Besides the addition of new routes, some of the previous bus services have been rescheduled to fit the new agenda. Express bus number L10, will connect Abu Dhabi city to the Mohammed bin Zayed City bus station.
The new services have been launched for the sole purpose of meeting the public demand with top notch customer service. As stated by the Bus Transportation Office, the buses will now be running approximately 72 daily trips, and will be implemented effective from April 8, Friday. Meanwhile, paper tickets will no longer be sold in Abu Dhabi suburb buses and areas and only Hafilat card payment will be accepted effective 22nd April.
