The United Nations will be using the payment solution by Etisalat called “Flous” to pay the staff its salaries in Togo, Africa. This will enable customers in Togo to easily receive their pays through this secure mobile commerce system.

Etisalat announced that The United Nations’ Population Fund Agency (PLAN) will be sending over 6,000 agents their salaries to their mobile phones via “Flous”. Once the salaries are credited, customers can withdraw cash from over 600 locations in the country.  This will enhance customer convenience.

The service, which is currently being used in Egypt lets registered customers send and receive money through it and then simply get cash from any Etisalat store.
