The UAE Government’s YouTube channel has been launched by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai. Shaikh Mohammad reiterated the government’s commitment to offer better accessibility of government services to people. He emphasized on the ministries and federal authorities to ensure transparency and exceed service standards for both Emiratis and other residents of the UAE region.
Shaikh Mohammad explained the government’s vision in making its services more approachable, saying, “The channel will serve as a point of reference for the people so they can acquaint themselves with services provided. It will also help governmental bodies to enhance the efficiency of their services.”
He further explained about use of social media networks by the Government to guarantee customer satisfaction and portray positive image of the different departments. The Government is planning to deploy latest in technology and communications to improve quality of life for the citizens.
