RTA Introduces Online Booking Service for Water Taxi Customers in Dubai

Roads and Transportation Authority (RTA) has now introduced an online booking service for customers using water transportation in Dubai. With the launch of the new service, RTA has added another convenient option for its customers. The new service has been launched to further enhance the transportation experience of commuters in Dubai.

RTA has kept the online booking process of the service easy and simple to use. The customer has to select the type of journey and payment can be made online or later at the station. RTA’s system also allows users to take a print of the receipt. The Water Taxi service will be available to customers after every 10 minutes between 10:00 am to 9:00 pm. This will enable passengers to determine the estimated time of their journey as well as availability of the Water Taxi.

Talking about the new online Water Taxi booking service, the Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication at RTA, Moaza Al Marri said that the facility will come in real handy, especially during events hosted by businesses, hotels and individuals like tour operators that are offering water cruises during carnivals, exhibitions and conferences.

Moaza Al Marri further said that the new service is not just meant to streamline the water transportation booking service, but also to offer customers a superior marine transit experience in Dubai. Al Marri said that these initiatives are aimed towards adding more value to the tourist movement.
