Changes in timings of public transport and other RTA services have been announced for the ease of customers.

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has publicized change in service timings for Ramadan, with the exception of Dubai Metro, which will operate on standard timings. Trains running on the Red Line will continue with its hours of 5.30 am to 12 midnight from Saturday to Wednesday and 5.30 am to 1 am on Thursdays, but will run from 1 pm to 1 am on Friday. The Green Line will be operating from 5.50am till 12 midnight throughout the week, except 1 pm to 1 am on Fridays.

Timings of various service centers were also announced, such as customer service centers, paid parking zones, public buses, marine transit modes, driving institutes, and vehicle testing and registration centers etc.

“Modifying the timings of service delivery aims at improving various services provided by RTA’s agencies to community members to keep up with the daily practices during the holy month which are different from the other days of the year,” said Mouza Al Marri, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communication at RTA.

Mouza also highlighted that all paid for parking zones, will be running from Saturday to Thursday between 8am and 1pm and also between 7pm and 12 midnight, with the exception of Deira Fish Market and Tecom.

The Dubai Bus will be operating all through the week, and timings will vary for different stations. Main stations of the Gold Souk and Ghubaiba, will have the bus run from 5.10 till 11.50 pm. Stations such as as Al Qusais, Satwa and Quoz stations will operate from 5.30 am to 11.45 pm and other stations, such as the , Jebel Ali Station will operate from 6 am to 9.30 pm etc.

The change in these service timings are being made to facilitate the customers with convenient timings in the month of Ramadan and as efforts of quality customer service on the behalf of RTA and its management.
