The government of UAE is now aiming towards providing smart services for its citizens.

The industries of UAE, especially tourism and hospitality have seen a huge growth in the past few years, delivering outstanding services; and the next goal is to deliver smart government services.

The second Government Summit will focus on providing technology- enabled government services, which will be there to facilitate the citizens of UAE.

The Organizing Committee of the summit chooses harmonious topics in a series of interactive and discussion sessions which will be delivered by a number of leaders and dignitaries, ministers, government officials, executives, managers from the private sector, experts and thinkers from various countries around the world,” said Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the Government Summit.

“The new topics are very relevant and will enable the participants and speakers to find suitable development methods in the field of government services and transfer expertise and knowledge to all participating countries. They will also help promote the Government Summit as a global government forum for best practices and an annual forum for exchanging the experiences,” added Al Gergawi.

The summit will hold sessions for improving the efficiency of various sectors of UAE, especially health care, education and social services. They will aim on focusing on these sectors especially since they are the affect the lives of the citizens the most, and effective service of these sectors is essential.

The discussion of smart education and how technology can contribute in providing that through convenient and efficiency will be under light as well.  The concept of smart education is very beneficial, as it reaches out to more people and lets the government provide more services for its people.

The agenda of the summit, as per Al Gergawi is, driven from the model of the best international airlines, to take inspiration from how they provide quality based customer service and exception experiences for their customers.

The summit will be inviting leaders of the world’s top airlines, and will highlight key factors that can support the government in providing quality service.
