Etihad Offers Guest Miles for Personal Cargo Shipments

Customers booking personal cargo shipments with Etihad Cargo, which is a part of United Arab Emirates (UAE) national airline Etihad Airways, can receive Etihad Guest Miles and Tier Miles now.

The offer is aimed to reward UAE residents who use air cargo to send furniture, automobiles, household objects, or pets. However, the number of Etihad Guest Miles depends on the kind of shipment and route that is to be flown. Members of Etihad Guest Silver, Gold or Gold Elite tiers would be able to receive extra miles. Moreover, Etihad Guest members can cash in their earned miles or have their pick of reward from Etihad Guest Rewards Shop of over 7,000 items. Passengers can also convert miles to cash using PointsPay and thus buy from 30 million outlets across the globe.

Kevin Knight, Etihad Airways Chief Strategy and Planning Officer, told how Etihad aims to enhance customer experience through constant innovation of ideas and technology, “Etihad Cargo and Etihad Guest have come together again, this time for the benefit of individual cargo customers.”
