Etihad Airways, has introduced a premium arrival lounge at the Abu Dhabi International Airport for its First and Business Class passengers. The Etihad Lounge will be the first lounge to be operated by the airline itself and promises to deliver comfort and luxury for its customers.
Customers will have the quality service of a special area for relaxing and freshening-up, before they head out for their flights. The freshen- up area will have 10 shower units, all fully stocked on amenities and other services such as clothes steaming etc.
Customers will be provided with many services which will make them indulge in this superior customer experience. The lounge will also offer its customers a special and new concept of “SHAVE by Etihad Airways”, where customers can get a free shave by well-trained barbers. Not just that, customers will also be able to enjoy, comfortable seating with wide screen televisions and multiple magazines and newspapers to choose for entertainment purposes.
The food available in the lounge will also be of a gourmet level, offering customers with global cuisines, with canapés, snacks and desserts. Customers can also select beverages of their choice from a list of cold and hot beverages. Customers who need to concentrate on their office work and business meetings, can make use of the onsite business facility, which has large screen Apple computers, with Wi-Fi and printers etc.
Peter Baumgartner, chief commercial officer of Etihad Airways said, “once again we have benchmarked ourselves against some of the world’s leading hotels and restaurants, while placing the warmth of Arabian hospitality at the heart of the experience.”
He, also went on to talk about the amount of market research and planning that has gone into the designing and launching of the Etihad lounge, in order to provide exceptional customer service to the customers of First and Business Class guests.
