The innovative and technological customer service initiative is a step towards better customer empowerment and convenience, while making financial transactions or undergoing cash delivery processes. The powerful mobile wallet will act like a real world wallet facilitating customers to load money in it digitally through their existing bank accounts.
Furthermore, the value added customer service product will also provide a range of facilities to citizens like buying top-ups, making payment of utility bills, online shopping, enjoying discounts and much more.
Talking about the Mobile Wallet project, Tirad Al Mahmoud, CEO of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank said, ‘The challenge that we were set to demonstrate how UAE banks can step up to make their contribution to the vision for the UAE’s future. The Mobile Wallet does just that, and I think it will be clear to all who use the solution now being created, and which will be presented in greater detail once the blueprint is published by the end of March, that this is a country that has the means and the appetite to lead the world with such advanced and collaborative thinking.’
