Dubai Municipality recently launched an initiative in collaboration with Assets Management department of the municipality. Khalid Badri, Director of Customer Relations Department of Dubai Municipality announced that this initiative would increase the proximity between customers and the top leaders of civic body, where the aim would be to improve customer service and bring satisfaction to them.
The first part of the event was arranged at the Fruits and Vegetable market where some of the civic body’s high officials stopped by shops and outlets and spoke to customers. Municipality officials also gave away gifts and souvenirs to the customers, as they had played a great part in making the civic body’s endeavors a success.
Badri said, “Dubai Municipality has been keen on applying various mechanisms to hear from its customers, opinions, suggestions and complaints in order to improve services and better performance,” also saying that “Dubai Municipality, as one of the big government organizations in Dubai, believes that the satisfaction of the customers is the real indicator to the growth of the organization.”
Previously another successful initiative called ‘Leaders on Air’ had entailed top officials of the civic body answering telephone calls at selected times, having the same purpose, that is acquisition of customer satisfaction.
