Dubai Customs has announced the launch of its services for customers through smart watches. The new initiative will enable Dubai Customs to make their services available in a more convenient and user-friendly manner. The services offered will be compatible with various screen sizes of different devices used by customers. An easy to use interface empowers customers to directly access all services.
Director of Dubai Customs, H.E Ahmed Mahboob Musabih explained the organization’s vision to introduce technologies into its services, saying, “Dubai Customs continues to develop its services in harmony with the farsighted vision of Dubai Government to deliver integrated smart services. As the first fully-fledged smart government department, Dubai Customs will constantly incorporate the latest in the area of customer service.”
The services offered to customers by Dubai Customs include Customs Declaration Progress Enquiry, Inspection Request Enquiry, Refund Application Progress Enquiry, Progress Enquiry Service, and Registration Application Progress Enquiry.
This move will further contribute to the Smart Government Initiative started by Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council.
