Du, a leading telecom provider in UAE has joined the Dubai Smart Government’s mPay app. The mPay app will allow Du customers to pay for its services, such as internet, mobile, landline and IPTV packages all through the app. This will enhance the customer service offered to customers of Du by letting them conveniently pay bills.
Du Customers who use Android and iOS devices just have to download the app, which is free, and simply register and start paying their bills. mPay now has a total of eight establishments which have joined its services.
Recharge of Nol and Salik, transactions for electricity and water bills and payment of traffic fines etc. will also be covered in the mPay app along with other services it delivers.
H.E. Ahmad Bin Humaidan, Director General of Dubai Smart Government, said: “We are pleased that du has joined the mPay app, which is part of our initiative to provide round-the-clock government services through smart devices to the public and the business community in Dubai in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to shift to smart government and for Dubai to become the world’s smartest city in 3 years.”
