ADNOC has announced the upgrade of three of its service stations in Abu Dhabi. Due to this upgrade, the service stations Al Samha 1, Zafranah, and Al Mushrif will remain closed from August 3 onwards. The main purpose of closing these facilities is to perform repair and maintenance work which has been due. ADNOC also plans to upgrade equipment and machinery. In order to avoid inconvenience, customers have been requested to use alternate service stations.
Customers going from Zayed Sports City to Corniche have been advised to use Al Manassir station. Similarly, the company has requested customers travelling from Corniche to Al Mussafah to use the service station of Khaleej Al Arabi opposite to Al Bateen Old Market Station. Customers of Zafranah station have been recommended using Al Ittihad Station or Air Wing service station on Muroor Street.
Customers driving to Abu Dhabi through Muroor can use either Al Dana station or Police College station. There are several alternate service stations that can be used by customers relying on Al Samha 1. Customers travelling from Dubai to Abu Dhabi can use Al Jaraf, Ghantoot or Al Samha 2 service stations. And customers travelling from Abu Dhabi to Dubai can use Sieh Shuaib station, or Kizad station.
The stations are expected to reopen after four months of development work.
