Customers will be provided with free shuttle buses running to and from Dubai international and DWC while runway work is being carried out at Dubai International, starting April 24th.

Dubai Airport will be launching free shuttle services back and forth from Dubai International and Al Maktoum International at Dubai World Central (DWC) from April 24. The services will be catering to airlines that have temporarily moved to Dubai’s secondary airport for a period of 80 days, which will begin on May 1st.

The distance between the airports is approximately 65 kilometers and takes up to one hour to complete. Some airlines are moving to DWC due to work and maintenance at the Dubai International.

As a customer service step, travelers will be provided with a convenient experience of catching the bus to go to the other airport without any difficulty. There are currently two bus services operated by Road and Transport Authority (RTA), F55 and F55A, connecting Al Maktoum International with Ibn Battuta Metro and Al Satwa Bus Station.
