The Roads & Transport Authority (RTA) has announced a new schedule and timings of its services to mark the 43rd UAE National Day holiday. Moaza Al Murri, Director of RTA Marketing & Corporate Communication, said that starting from Tuesday 2nd of December all Customer Service Centers will remain closed until Saturday 6th of December.

RTA has also announced that all over parking zones in Dubai will be free of charge, with the exception of Fish Market and the multi-level parking lot. The paid service will resume on Saturday the 6th of December.

Al Murri said that Dubai Metro service hours during the holiday period from the 2nd up to the 4th of December will be from 05:50 am till 12:00 am on both Tuesday and Wednesday and till 1:00 am on Thursday. Dubai tram will be operational from 06:30 am until 01:30 am during the holidays.

Public buses will also have a revised schedule during the holidays. Gold Souk, Ghubaiba and other major stations will start at 05:00 am and will be operation until 12:00 am, while Qusais, Quoz Industrial, and Jebel Ali, will operate from 05:45 until 11:00 pm. C01 Route is the only exception, which will operate around-the-clock. Commercial and inter-city bus service will follow a revised schedule: Main stations such as Ghubaiba will operate around-the-clock, while subsidiary stations, such as Sabkha, Union Square, Deira City Center and Karama, will operate from 06:00 am up to 12.00 am.

The Water Bus will be run from 10:00 am to 11:00 pm, while from 12:00 pm (at noon) to 12:00 am (midnight) at the Marina Station. Water Taxi will be available from 09:00 am until 10:00 pm. During the holidays The Dubai Ferry will be offering services at Ghubaiba Station at 11:00 am, 01:00 pm, 02:30 pm, 05:00 pm and 06:30 pm and at the Marina Station at 11:00 am, 01:00 pm, 03:00 pm, 05:00 pm and 06:30 pm; and at Mamzar Station the Ferry service will be at 04:30 pm and 06:30 pm.

Director of RTA Marketing & Corporate Communication said that all vehicles testing & registration services will be closed from Tuesday 2nd December to Thursday 4th December. The services will resume on Saturday 6th of December 2014.
